Whats ur viper bite record be honest, i was astonished i got 855 at lvl 59 in the temple of uggalepeh (sp) and the lvl 75 jpn monk was even suprised it was great i just would like to see how good this really is

I count the renkei damage as well, since its damage is partially based on the damage of the weaponskill.

Level 46: 1,046 damage w/ distortion vs a Fly in CN.
It was approximately 750+400 damage.

Around a 430 viper bite and a 270 renkei. I was so happy to break 700 total damage, and here you guys do it in the Viper Bite alone. :mad:

I've seen just over 1.2k (just VB, no renkei) on the Boreal Hound for Genkai 2, but he doesn't really count because he just about has a negative defense. :)

Against other things, 722 against IT Armet Beetles without any Renkei.

I had 814 Damage with Combo + Renkei chain using claws at level 32 against the skeletons in serpent sea grotto. Combo + fuidama did about 480.

With dagger and level 37 thief i average 550 damage viper bite + renkei, 350 not counting renkei. Made me kinda sad to give up claws, but still very good stuff.

My record was at level 49 fighting exorays for genkai 1 exoray mold. No idea how this happened since all my other fuidama were closer to 500 or 550...

But I got 698 without renkei vs exoray. Renkei was another 350 or something.

I know i did good Vipers against Fly's but 750... I dont think so , not at lvl 49, My highest is probly 650 or so, SA+TA + Viper, So not including Skillchain or MB. Im lvl 56 and have all the good equipment... Lust dagger +7 AGI , emp hairpin, only thing i dont have is Leaping boots, Which i dont intend to get because of THF's feet are good enough.

But back to the point, 750 for lvl 49... Not sure i belive that along with some others in here :angel:

Fly's check VT or even T to a level 46, that is probably why 750 was possible. I maybe be wrong but aren't most Thf records are based off of IT kills? anyways...

Last night i finally broke 1000+ w/ distortion w/o warcry, or bard songs @ 44 to IT fly. With those buffs, and hairpin/boots, i could definetly get 650-700 Viper to IT @ 44/45.

Yeah Vandal 200-300 MB's are normal right now, but i i can't wait for FREEZE!!! ^.^

Heya, the 750 was an estimate, though I promise I'm not actively trying to pad my number, and I remember the situation clearly because I couldn't think of anything else I could have had to give me more damage, short of the bard using his 2hr. The fly wasn't IT, the bard was using 2 damage songs since we weren't missing, I had food on, berzerk (was a war at the time), the best gear possible (short of the viking shield >.<)

But I almost feel like I should take the number down since it WAS an estimate and we're trying to post accurate #'s. The 1,046 damage figure I will swear by, but again, that was adding renkei damage.

Well, I can believe it. Flies, bats, etc, aren't very restiant to physical damage.

Sometimes I feel like I get free damage bonuses vs. those family of creatures becuase I hit them so hard consistently.

Take that same THF up against a beetle or crab tho, and lookout. ^^;;

Uh, I got 581 solo..no renkei on NM Gob for AF.

im level 33 with a Parrying Knife (11 DMG, 196 delay, +10 parrying skill), anyway, i tried viper and got a 189, then i tried it later and got a 312, no SC with sneak and trick.

i dunno if you call that a record though, its only my second try -_-;;

Viper Bite for 771 vs Werebats in bostaneau oubliette.

And, I kid you not, VB (no renkei) for 1,210 damage vs. the Boreal Hound. But that hardly counts as he's got negative defense or something. One of the mages went so far to say that they thought he took double damage vs physical attacks. Nevertheless, I couldn't stop giggling for 2 or 3 minutes =). Plus now I can take back the title of "Most Damaging Single Hit" from my blackmage buddy.

last night (lv37) I got 597 dmg. 357 dmg viper and 240 dmg distortion from a DRG's DT. This was to a worker crawler BTW.
