Yeah, I do the same thing. When I can't sleep, I'll just play alittle.

When I think I had enough, I probably will play around 3-5 hours pass 10:00PM.

Rofl.

Addiction to an online game dies and lives on the owners own free will.

Its not a disease that can be treated with thearpy.

If you enjoy an online game, you tend to play it night on end.

Over time if you lose intrest, you wont be addicted enough to play for the whole night.

My point is, its not a medical or mental cause.. Its just in the eye of the beholders intrest in it.

... Bleh, I'm wasting my time arent I?

A word to our players

Exploring Vana'diel is a thrilling experience.
During your time here, you will be able to talk, join and adventure with many other individuals in an experience that is unique to onlin games.

That being said, we have no desire to see your real life suffer as a consequence.
Don't forget your family, your friends, your school, or you work

That message, Rico, is a reminder that everyone should pay attention to.

Real life and video games can balance itself out, but if you take the game too far, it will be hard to pull yourself back.

Or maybe it will come to an end...

I always knew EverQuest would come back to haunt us one day.

Anyway, I dunno if I'm going to SHOOT myself from playing FFXI.

Wow, thats really sad. But they shouldn't put warning lables on games. If your buying one of these games, you need to have done your research. You need to have self control.

its obvious that this guy had problems that go beyond EQ...he may not have shot himself BECAUSE of the game but it certainly wasnt a way to help him find the road to mental recovery.
its crazy how much you can lose yourself in mmo's.

I couldn't shoot myself...then there would be no more FFXI.

Christ, I remember reading about that in my local paper. That guy was just a county over from me. But I know what you mean, I have been putting in some major hours in FFXI.
Almost lv 14 now sence I got it last tuesday.
