How long?

Hey guys, This is my first post. Back to the point... Im a newbie i have this game but i gotta get a new ps2 since mine is old. How long does it level to lv30? Or leveling up in general? I need to know because im desperate to get the advanced job i want:Dragoon. Thanks for the help

totally depends on how you play.
my starting job was mnk, and it took me months to hit 30. the world is massive, and I really wanted experience all it had to offer. quests, missions, subjob combos, linkshells, etc. etc.
I'm leveling war now and its taken me 4 days to tag 25, I'll be 30 in a week max. Understand that this is with a bank account, so farming wasn't required. also, I have game experience and know what the hell I'm doing.

if you really want to haul ass to 30 you can without too much trouble. WAR to 18, melee sub to 15, WAR to 30. meh.
