is RDM AF2 soloable?

I just hit 50 and I was reading over the AF 2 quest, and it doesn't mention anything about fighting any monsters. Now I already have the CN chest key, can I solo the AF 2 quest? Thanks.

You have the key, so the rest is pretty easy to solo. Just look for a map online with treasure chest locations and be ready to cast sneak/invis often. Make sure you have accepted the quest before you use the key.

I hate this... "you got the key so rest should be easy" !!!
I spend almost all week in Crawlers looking for that %^@#%$% chest and nothing... ahh! no sorry i found treasure coffer 2 times -_-

Now im a mad Red Mage ! Im gonna print some maps with locations of chest and own this stupid place...

I had nearly the same problem as the above poster. The key drops soo much from mobs that everyone fights, that whoever comes across one will likely have a key and open it, making us wait for the respawn. It took a good 4 hours of searching (with the spawning points, mind) to find the damn thing. ;_;

Yea I soloed it at lvl 52 easily, as long as you have the key you're good. I got lucky and got my chest within about 15 mins, found it in Exoray room behind the big rock :)

Its easy as long as you have a map and know the locations of the chest. Nevertheless, the quest is still something that you'd solo. Before you get frusterated, once you get the boots you have to bury them at I-10 (I believe). Off of the first pier, this is the area that does NOT lead to the 'doughnut.' I've seen a scorpion, bomb, and soldier crawler all hanging out around the ??? spot so be careful!

Ehh got the boots finally... I printed soem maps from Eternalforce site but still i was lucky this time and found chest in the first room with labirynt lizards ^-^;
Now only get papyrus and lv to wore them :D
