sorry for acting like a newb but, how do i put a picture from my computer to my signature?

The picture needs to be hosted, so you have to use on it for example.

That's a example and you go to User>Edit Profile>Go to Your signature and place that under.

You have to have it hosted somewhere.

Then enter the URL (location) into your profile on the User Control Panel as directed.

The weird part was, yeah, the sentence doesn't translate properly, but it was totally unimportant anyway....

OK, you need to link to the actual image, not the html page the image is on. So in this case you want to use:

[ img]http://www.geocities.com/darkmarkmb007/Galkasignature.JPG[ /img]
(minus the spaces inside the brackets, of course)

I don't think geocities allows remote linking though (where you can post an image stored on a geocities site from a non geocities site, like this one). I cannot think of a good host at moment but you can try angelfire (http://www.angelfire.com). They a loow remote linking but I have had trouble with their bandwidth allowences in the past.
