The verb "to iterate" means "to repeat, or to state repeatedly"... so... there's no such word as "re"iterate...
So, now you're making up words, MH...
*...shakes finger at MH (again)..." :spin:
(for the record, I'm just messin' with ya, 'k?)

For the record, reiterate is a word according to the Merriam Webster Dictionary.

You won't find it in a dictionary. You WILL find "iterate". It's defined as "repeat; state repeatedly". You can't put a "re" prefix ahead of a word like that, it's illogical. That would mean one is re-repeating something. You can iterate something. Or a process can be iterative. Example: I am iterating the fact that there is no such word as "reiterate" in the English language, as it's used correctly.
You find the word in a dictionary, cite the source, and then let me know if you think otherwise.

English professors agree that when competing information is found in a number of sources regarding the English language, the Oxford dictionary takes precedence. It is considered throughout the English speaking world as the definitive and final authority regarding the use of the English language. Not some Webster "spin-off" picked up off a drugstore shelf for $1.50.
The Oxford Dictionary doesn't list the word. Besides, I think my argument was logical. You can't double "re-" something.
Ha ha, lighten up, people, it was a joke! It's no big deal! But if there is a serious note, I guess I'd hate for anyone here to hand in an essay to their prof, and get bad marks for making up words!! Ha ha!
... I've been at university too long, ha ha! :spin:

That with reiterated crimes he might Heap on himself damnation. --Milton.
You never spoke what did become you less Than this; which to reiterate were sin. --Shak.

I currently reside in London, England, and plan to move to U.S. for study purposes. I have been a fan of Final Fantasy since Final Fantasy 7 was released. I know very little about Final Fantasy XI, however I plan to look deeply into the game over the next few days. Playing a Taru Taru seems very interesting as I am a big fan of magic users. I have visited your website and am considering joining such a "linkshell" as you call them. Though my plans are not yet finalized, I would like to learn more about your linkshell and how it operates. Feel free to leave me a private message on this site. Thanks a great deal for any assistance you could provide. Sincerely,
Darren.
P.S. reiterate is in fact a word listed in the latest version of the Oxford Dictionary. Feel free to send me a private message if you have any questions regarding this fact.

reiterate is a word. sorry.
so is iterate, they have the same meaning, just because they seem similar doesn't mean that the re should be treated as a defining aspect. That's like saying respect means specting again lol.
I'm a phil graduate and a writer. One thing I can tell you is that neither oxford nor webster can tell us what words mean, only the common usage in a culture can do that. Definitions are nothing but human convention, don't take them too seriously...
In any case, I don't import so I can't join a clan, but I may start my own when it comes to NA :P
