Well I have been playing the game now for a while and I have a lvl 21BLM/10WHM. Spent some time doing missions and all that jazz, but the more I play the more I want to know how to make gil!? I can't afford any of my new spells or anything! Were do you all make your money? I was thinking about fishing, or mabey cooking or alchemy... I like crafting. So what do you all think!? And feedback is greatly appreciated!

Im still a bit of a noob, so I dont do anything very gil intensive yet, but i find selling stacks of crystals to be fairly easy, and bring in at least half way decent gil. Ive never had crystals not sell. I just get a couple stacks together, wait a few hours or overnight, go to my mog house and withdraw the gil i made. It may not be the best way, but its good enough for me so far.
You can either farm crystals by changing into a lvl 1 job. I fish moat carp for 4000gil/ stack.

Try the crafting forum... 80% of the topics there are fishing related.

Kind of off topic, but when did people start using the expression "and all that jazz?" I know it's a song in the play/movie (good movie by the way) Chicago. The song has been around a long time I think, but now it's only starting to be used as a expression?

Train method has it's drawbacks though.. was at a lower level around "12ish" soloing near the Giddeus/Sarabuta entrance when I see 20+ mobs being trained near me..probably could have gotten away if there was no caster monster but one casted bind on me and they slaughtered me.. lol then as I lay dead I see the "train"er cast blizzaga on them. There should be more "train" guides, or it was my fault for soloing. Twas ok since I learned to not solo and join maze parties instead.

Language develops. :P That you -see- people using it only now doesn't mean it wasn't used before. ^^
Oh and on topic: Delkfutt's Tower is a good place to farm with one or two more people 50+, and if I get bored I just farm bees and rams in Konschtat.

I've heard it used from time to time in the past 28 years that I've been alive...maybe the area you live in does not use this expression?

Truth is I have said all that jazz for as long as I can remember, my grandfather used to say it, guess that is who i picked it up from. When i saw Chicago i loved the song lol.
Oh and i know i cant spell, thanks for pointing that out, there allways has to be a smartass.
