Can't start POL Viewer

I just recently reinstalled POL and FFXI after installing Windows Server 2003 (So now I dual boot it and Windows 2000, which is having problems). It started fine, and after installing FFXI I started POL Viewer and updated. It naturally said I needed to restart the Viewer. Now whenever I try to start it, it tells me I need DirectX 8.1 or higher, but the settings it displays for me say I have DirectX 8.2. The error code is 20008001.

Here are the main specs:
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
512 MB DDR RAM
80 GB HDD
GeForce4 Ti 4200 /w AGP 8x

Anybody know what to do?

Might wanna try reinstalling PlayOnline Viewer. I had a kinda similar problem with my POL when I first got FFXI (POL would open but nothing would show in it.). A fresh install in most cases should fix it. Also Download Direct X9.0 (forget the newer version name so if you know then please tell lol) just to be on then safe side anyway.
