AF2 new job discussion

from the AF2 pics on mystery tour it appears there are three new job types ( if info is correct ).

That is the only image in mystery tours that displays all three together.

Firstly the "All White" people have said its a wedding dress etc.
It really doesn't look like it to me. I'd like to discount this and discuss what type of job it is ^_^ I'm thinking some sort of melee job or holy magic only job ( not sure how this would work ).

Second up is the new mage type If you look bottom right second from the right there is something that looks a little like BLM AF gear but the black stuff is BLM AF if you look at the patterns on the clothing on the larger screenies.

Is the brown armour photochopped BLM AF? ^^

Lastly the bottom right, this appears to be a new melee type.

On the topic of new jobs i'm guessing a new expansion isnt too far away probably 3-4 months after the NA PS2 release from the usual industry workings.

Chains of Promethia has already been registered and we know Promethia is the evil god who is jealous of Althana for creating the world. Also dynamis refers to "his" return -

The "mage" looking armor in the bottom right hand corner is probably Summoner AF2, unless there's already a SMN up there that I'm not seeing...

I had no idea Promethia was the evil god counterpart to Altana... :P I had no idea what Promethia even was.

I think that the skin tight white armor really is the wedding dress, IMO. First of all, on that hume female picture, the skintight white armor is the FIRST armor that is displayed. the rest of the armors follow a certain order- basic jobs, advanced jobs, expansion jobs, mystery jobs. Therefore it seems like its some sort of "special" armor. Also, if you go to the original site that lists all the pictures (http://mysterytour.web.infoseek.co.jp/mt/eng/af2/af2.htm), no males seem to be wearing anything like the white armor in the male pictures. Look at the rest of the pictures on mystery tour- especially the one of the taru taru. The taru taru AF2 pictures has all the classes already existant in the game, EXCEPT for that white armor- yet there is no taru taru AF2 picture of the brown robes AF2 and the red hauberk AF2 or mysteryjob AF2's that are present in the hume F pictures. This again indicates that the new white armor seems to be more special than those other two last armors.

Not only that, but a lot of people seem to be saying that they've already seen the tight white armor, and claiming it to be the wedding dress armor that a character named Destiny wore in one of the Dynamis preview screenshots. I'm pretty sure more than one person have said this.

It's possible that this armor could be "dancer" armor, but I really, really, really doubt that Squeenix could add THREE new jobs in a single patch. Remember, Chains of Promethia isn't even done yet- and the AF2 is coming in the new patch- and according to that japanese translated "plans for FFXI" thing, chains of promethia is not gonna have any new classes. Think about it- it's been rather recently that S-E registered for the Chains of Promethia name. I'd think that they'd wanna build up a good amount of hype before they release the expansion. If they're already so done with CoP that three new classes have already been made (which is already equivalent to the amount of new classes in Rise of the Zilart ALONE), then how come we aren't hearing any hype?

And If new jobs are gonna come in a new patch... then damn, we're probably gonna have to wait eight hours for it 0_0. :P There are three new armors- if all of them were new classes that means we'd be downloading another rise of the zilart into our computers. And if square is gonna make so much content, why wouldn't they capitalize on it and put it in the dynamis areas and the supposed new class AF2's/new classes a whole new expansion that could be sold?

Instead I just think that the armors shown there aren't ALL AF2, but instead I think the brown robes set may be an alternative mage armor, and the red armor set may be an alternative warrior set, and the white armor is the wedding dress. Basically the red armor is the next upgrade past hauberk, and the brown robes are... well I dunno.

Adding new classes would mean tons of rebalancing on the part of square, and square needs severe amounts of balacing in whats already existing anyways. The lack of higher level abilities for Samurai, the difficulty of summoner without all the avatars (which requires level 60!!), etc. etc. etc. Don't get me wrong- I'd love new classes, I'd especially like it if there were more healing, support and tank type classes to give paladins, red mages, bards and WHM's more competition (so that DRK's, DRG's, MNK's and SAM's have more people to share with in their lfp suffering :P) however I just really find it logically impossible for such a large amount of changes to be made in... well... a single patch.

Weddings in my opinion would be pretty nice :P.

Just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean it can be discounted ^^;

All the AF2 is just recoloured versions of the last stuff apart from the first and last 2 on that picture. The bottom right looks like a red version of some level 70-75 armour I've seen in blue (forgot its name) and the one before that is obviously some mage but white, black and red mages are 4th, 5th and 6th on the top row. Summoner is just before this unknown mage after the dragoon.

You learn that much from talking to an NPC in the first five minutes of game time...you didn't know? Maybe I just talk to NPCs to much.

that first one is actually female exclusive and is likely just for female GM's because the original GM armor made all GMs look exactly the same.
The 2 bottom right ones are most definately not AF of any kind.

The brown wizard armor is just a new color scheme for the standard mage gear. Robe, hat, Slops, Pigaches, mittens Just like that white and black one that was new with the 75 level cap raise.

The red one is just a new color scheme of the level 61 carapace gear. carapace gear is only head, body, hands and you can clearly see that it has the same leg and feet part of the brown mage gar next to it in that picture.
