one more thing, i noticed on the female hume there was 18 af sets and female taru 16 af sets, then i counted number of jobs in my instruction book and there were only 15 jobs. does this mean new jobs with next patch? hmm.

Yes its the wedding dress for in-game weddings, which i heard (unverified) you need a real-life marriage certificate before you can get an in game one, which is wack.

I noticed the 18 armours also.

If the white one is wedding ( doubt it ) this means two new jobs.


At first I thought the brown RE was BLM because blm AF is also brown and they seem to be continuing the colours. But the blm RE pic has the same patterning as AF so i think that is what it is

I conclude from it there will be 2 new support jobs and 1 new melee job.

Its called Relic Armor Actually and its a second set of AF according to SQE, and Gryf you are taking a WILDY unconfirmed rumor and stating it as fact^^ .. Chains of Promathia is only a name registerd by SQE, Corps do it all the time.. may mean its true may mean its not, either way its not worth basing your argument on by any means.

I'm sorry, but squeenix has said so many damn times that they have no intention of making new jobs, nor do they have plans to raise the level cap (via quests).
and think about it, we have so many jobs already, you add more and it completely unbalances everything. you can't have diversity with hundreds of jobs.

edit: just to stay on topic, I think that PLD and BLM relics are the coolest. PLD's armour looks heavier, its so cool..

we already have Slow and Haste as other spells, we already have a bard, a geomancer would be retarted on so many levels its not even funny, and a chocobo knight would just be stupid, they don't even allow those birds into the city. THINK.
THis game is extremely party oriented, squeenix did alot of planning with every job so each have a role in the party.
what the hell is a geomancer going to do? throw sand at someone? what about a time mage? lag the enemy? I sure as hell am not giving up a WHM or a BLM for one of those things.
it will unbalance the game. we have so many jobs already, this is ffxi, its about teamwork, everyone, has, a, part. adding MORE jobs, will take away certain people's parts, or, the new jobs will be completely useless.

I have to agree though that they are not planning on adding any new jobs in the next update, it was stated. HOWEVER, I haven't read anywhere that they are not going to be putting new jobs in the next expansion set (whatever its called and whenever it is due out). I don't think it would 'unbalance' the game at all having some new blood added to the game, I mean really everyone has the same main/sub combos everywhere, this will give a little more variation and something for all those level 50+ people to do for a while.

I really think a class like BRD/GEO would rock, or even something like DNC/BRD (as long as they give dancers the ability to have instruments... tamborine or finger symbols anyone?).

Flame all you want, I really think that they need the new jobs to put some more variety in the game.

yeah, i agree.

just so all of u guys know, these graphics were added in the latest pre-update patch. however, stats have not yet been added in the armor database. some say it's a limbo-only armors, some say it's an updated version of AF armors, but we never know until 26th.

btw, in the testing of limbo, PC called Destiny was wearing the dress. just so u know, Destiny is a handle of a real person who's on a ffxi marketing team at s-e. just because the graphic exists, that doesn't mean u can get GM armors.

the necessary info has already been provided in various japanese forums, so that everyone w/ necessary software can display those graphics on their monitors. indeed, they r from the last pre-update patch, and not tweaked in any way.
