View Full Version : Goblins and Sneak/Invis Potions

Getting ready to head to Yhoator with my lv 25 WAR. I was there back in Dec with my WHM. Back then the prob I remember with melees was getting back to Kazham. As a WHM I just cast sneak/invis and ran back. I always did both sneak/invis cause I thought gobs there detected through both sight and sound (plus it is easy enough to cast both spells). One time though invis ran out or something I think. I remember running through with sneak only and not getting aggro (maybe, not to sure exactly where this happened).

Anyway, anyone know for sure if gobs there only aggro on sound, or sound AND sight?

I have also heard that the Silent Oil/Prisim Powder potions last a constant 5 min, not variable like the spells. Is this true?

Goblins, Orcs, and Yagudo are sight aggro. Also bombs and dragonflies.

Anticans and Quadavs are sound aggro. Also weapons, bees, crabs, beetes, all undead and crawlers.

Anticans and Bombs are also magic aggro.

I don't remember what Giants are, i rarely have to avoid them.

I'm sure i missed some, but those are the most common mobs.


EDIT: Beetles and Bees are both sight, i was on crack when i wrote that, sorry.

Giants are Sight.

Evil Weapon types are sound and magic.

I think Mithrael meant Beetle :) and not bee.

Beetle indeed as Sight aggro (I thought they were sound) as I found out the hard way doing RSE last night.

HNMs can see through sneak and invis. As Guivre loves to own people hard.

Skeletons are sound + HP aggro, they aggro even with sneak on if your hp is yellow
