How do you take screenshots.

Ok...This is probably either a stupid question or a question that is asked way to much but here goes.

How do you take screenshots? :confused: I've searched the forums, but can't find it anywhere. Please if you would tell me I would greatly appreciate it.

PC Version: Press Scroll Lock once to clear screen, then Print Screen to take the screenshot, then Scroll Lock again to bring back up the HUD, or you can press Esc.

PS2 Version: Press Select, the hold Down R2 to bring up the little Square-Enix copyright stuff, and press R1 while R2 is still held down. Press Select to bring back HUD

An alternate (and somewhat faster imo) for PC users is to hold CTRL or ALT and press [ to clear the HUD then press ] to take the shot. For reference... those keys are right next to the "P" key (on my keyboards at least).

I know how to take pics, but what I don't know how to do is take pics with the menus, log window, etc still showing. I've seen many pics with the menus and log window still visible. How do the people take those screenshots? Thanks.

They use a third-party program, called "FRAPS" I believe. Do a search for it and you should find a topic about it.
