How much sense do you think it makes to make a set of macros that include buff up job abilities with ws (for instance)
line 1
/ja "Last Resort" <me>
line 2
/ws "Slice" <t>
my thinking is I try to boost before a ws alot of times though I loose attack before the boost is done however I am wondering if making macro that throws a boost before a ws could screw the timing up on skillchains.

mmm u could do
/ja "Boost" <me>
/wait 1
/ja "Last Resort" <me>
/wait 1
/ws "Slice" <t>
that should work

although doing such is possible, i strongly recommend to have separate macros for them.
the reason is simple; u don't know when it gets cancelled due to the lag, or whatever the reason. also, there will be circumstances where u just wanna fire away the ws at once (like the macro got cancelled due to the lag), but having only that kinda macro delays ur action. and that could possibly ruin the renkei.
don't be too lazy, it's only a couple of macros u'll have to press even if u have them separated.

i was in crawlers nest other day...
renkei involed the thf to SA + VA + Viper Bite
he used the following macro
/ja "Sneak Attack"
/wait 2
/ja "Trick Attack"
/wait 2
/ws "Viper Bite" <t>
because of the lag that macro only succesfully worked i think twice

just so u know, i chose to have separate macros for SA, TA, and WS when i played THF, and when i play MNK w/ THF sub. of course, all of them r next to each other, or 1 apart at the most.
