What brings him out?

I saw him for the first time recently. Does something "activate" him?

Guivre in Kuftal? He pops every 19 hours. If he goes approx. 30 minutes without aggroing someone, he disappears.

what exactly is the purpose of fighting guivre? his drops sucks.. and what is guivre skull used for?

From fighting it you can somehow (by drop I assume) get the Gae Bolg. Lv68 Lance with the highest damage.

Gae Bolg is dropped by Vouivre, the NM which spawns with the Hurricane Wyverns in Ifrit's Cauldron.

Guivre drops his skull, and some random generic wyvern pieces. :biggrin:

Guivre Skull is an ingredient for the Wyvvern Helm
