list of song + what instrument to use??

i serched thru the hole board trying to find a list of what intrument to use with each song.

of course i understand that +1 instruments come with a specific song they boost ex : minuet ect ect.

what i want to know is will i get more powerfull song if i sing my regen son say with a harp or with a flute ? that kind of info.

The type of instruments (string or wind) has nothing to do with the song. Wind instruments have shorter party range and Strings have bigger party range. What determines the effectiveness of your songs (other than the instrument stats) are your CHR and your singing and instrument skills (it should be maxed out all the time).

Harps are used when you want to affect the entire party (Paeon and Ballad after a fight)

Flutes are for precision work (Giving the ranger a Prelude while giving the mages Etude)

cool thanks very much for clearing this up for me i was under the wrong impression that some instrument were more beneficial for songs then others (not including any + modifier).


So basically i can use wind instrument most of the time and switch to harp at the end of the fight. or is that specifict instrument has a modifier to the song i want to sing. reason i ask is cause i want to start setting up my macros to the corect instrument i should use with out having to switch every 2 sec.
