bards could melee decently? lets say on par with beastmasters (well i actually don't know how well they melee. just something good enough so it warrants it).
i think that would open a lot of variety for the bard class. it would open up more sub jobs then the whm. well i can only think of thf and nin at the moment :p
i think you would see a lot more rdm subs too with this. with fast cast, it would allow the bard more time to melee. whm sub would still also be decent.
