Vouivre owned today, got my Gae Bolg^^;

We tried Ash Dragon again after we won this, and of course got our asses handed to us again, sicne he is freakin impossible, but, my damage went from 15-25 with Grand Knight, to almost typical 100+ hits sometimes.....which is remarkable to say the least

Could you provide some info/tips on camping Vouivre? I only he know spawns from a selection of the Wyvern types around in the area. So I'm guessing is he could spawn in any Wyvern and has like a 2hour minimum spawn time? Any specific area he spawns in?

F**king hard is the best way to describe him.
He has the standard Wyvern attacks, most annoying being Fang Rush, Dispel Wind, and his Divine Breath (700+ front area damage). All of these are fairly manageable, but he also has what amounts to auto-regen 2 or 3.
You will need at least 14 people. The more the better, melee need to be above 70, tanks 75. Minimum 2 PLDs, need 2 people who can use Garuda for Blink, and 2-3 BLMs who know how to nuke while controlling their hate (BLMs will die first if anyone dies.) One BRD for each party (1 pt is tanks and Blinkers, 1 mages, 1 melee) All melee need to be able to use Spirits Within at the start of battle (at 300% TP), then they can continue with sword or switch to their best weapon. Helps to have a BST to tame the active raptor that will pop during the fight (you can kill it before pulling, but it will pop at least once). It's hard, flat out. That's all I can say about fighting it.
Ash Dragon is much harder.........it's breath attack hit me for like 1200, with most DRG JSE on, and the area he pops is filled with Volcanic Bombs.....

Vouvy pops in the spot where there are always 4-5 Hurricane Wyverns. They only pop in one other spot (Ash Dragon pop), but there is only one there. Supposedly he is a lottery pop, but, both times I have seen hmi he was already there. Perhaps popped but killed those who popped him. It's a short walk, but Ifrits is never really safe no matter where you are going...so glad this is out of the way. Now to decide if I want a Dragon Mail...............

Harness isn't mine....sadly.

Dragon Mail definitely isn't worth 2 million gil. Hell, that Cardinal Vest at lvl 73 is better...I decided yesterday to work on the Dusk series or Crimson series instead.

Sword has situational use to DRG. Most high levels skill up multiple weapons for different reasons.

Was losing to King Behemoth, needed to use Spirits Within.
Scorpio Harness will be dropping in price soon, as the Tu Lia NMs drop serket claws pretty regularly (much more often than Serket anyway)
