Maint Screwed UP

I've been trying to download the patch thing it does after maintenance and it wont work, it gets to this part and then screws up, what can i do??

I got the exact same problem and I tried like 15 times to download it. I even tried unplugging and plugging back in my cable modem.

best bet would be to e-mail POL and ofcourse dont expect a personal responce, they probably have a few automated suggestions for this sorta problem.

Does your HDD have good space enough to accomodate the updates?

i got it working, had to keep trying and it eventualy worked

I let it sit there for about 10 minutes before it moved on. It has been a problem, but sometimes, disconnecting and reconnecting or exiting the program completely then re-enter helps. But I let it sit there for a long while and it eventually moved to the third stage of applying the patch.

If it still fails, you can delete the downloaded files and have it try downloading all the way from the start. Unfortunately, I do not know the path off hand, I will need to have my Japanese friend look it up in the Japanese forums. But I think it was to rename the patch.ver to patch.ver.bak and force it to recheck. But I am unsure of this.

I had the same problem with it the previous patch before the latest one, and the way to force it was to re-download it all if the wait or disconnect methods do not work.

You might also want to select or de-select the option to disconnect after download and see if that helps. (doubtful though)
