End game I want to be BLM/WHM.. would it be easier later on for my BLM if I did whm first? Would I be accepted in qufim if i didnt start raising blm until im 25 whm?

Yes you will, if you realy dont want to lvl both to 10 first, do whm first. Its "easier" to get a group as a white mage lvl 20 without a sub then it is as a black mage. But i realy think you should lvl the other job once you hit lvl 18. Its not only that you will have more mana, you also have some nice spells to play with. And its not that hard to lvl to lvl 10 solo. Espezialy as a black mage you can kill tough worms easily. White mage is a bit thougher , but if you are lucky and find a warrior at lvl 5 who is willing to group its also a cakewalk.

My whm is lvl 5 now and I notice everything is really starting to come to a slow pace.

On another note, can I quest for my spells or do I have to buy them all? I dont want to have to buy the ones that are like 7k and stuff.
