scroll lock?

Hey, I've been trying to take screenshots, and I've been told that the scroll lock key is what you use to make all the windows disappear. Unfortunately I apparently have a weird keyboard.

My scroll lock is on the same button as the numlock, in the upper left hand corner of the numpad, and pressing it doesnt do anything.

Does anyone else have a funky keyboard like this? Or know if there's an alternate way to make all the windows disappear for taking screenies?

well... i dont know what to tell you besides get a new keyboard they only cost about 10 bucks US

Here is my guess.
Does your keyboard have any Function key printed like 'Fn' or Alternative key like 'Alt' key?
If it does, try either of the following combination of keys.

1. Fn + Scroll Lock
2. Alt + Scroll Lock

Hope it works.

You use the shift button. I am pretty sure about this cause its on my laptop.
