I'm a 31 Ranger/Ninja with good equipment.
Where should I be leveling, and where should I sit with my flag up so people will invite me?

Best way to find a party is to sit in Jeuno all day with your search comment saying something about your EXP tnl, what weapons you can use, what weapon skills you have... if you don't know how to use the search comment... go to your menu in game and go to (you guessed it) search.
Search Comment (typical foramt):
@4000 or 4000tnl
Wep: Sword WS: Burning Blade
Japanese Party = ok~
If you want to solo... good luck... find a map that has no aggros at your level or just steer away from them... pretty much just try to get a party by sitting in jeuno... or you can always try to start your own party.
PM me if you have any more questions.

yah stay in jueno..and let the leader decide...evil weapons are do-able at 31...and garliage citadel is also doable with a good enough party..and u will still gain good xp in yhaotor jungle at that lvl too.....
Question: what do i put to have my xp and tnl like: <???>...is there any thing i can put in the <> that would make my xp show up for my current level?

I'm currently just seeking at the entrance of the 2nd jungle, but the problem with that you basically have to suicide back to your home point to get back to kazham if you don't have an escort...
I'm a NA player and can't speak Japanese. I know the Japanese players all sit in jeuno and the NAs like to sit in the area. Do NA parties look for people in Jeuno or only people lfg in that area?

I look at the entire 'world' when I make my parties, or help keep an eye out for a replacement.
/sea all x-y inv. Tada! Eveyone everywhere in your level range who needs a group.
It's amazing, though. Most other english-speaking folks I've grouped with don't seem to know how to do this.
Me: Oh look, there's a BRD who's seeking.
Leader: Um... dude. There are no BRDs seeking. What are you on?
Me: ...
Leader: Huhwa?
Me: /sea all. Thank you~

Also, consider that JP foks don't like to invite NA types, or at least the majority on Sylph don't. :( If you sit in Jeuno, you're excluding yourself from a lot of NA parties, and are automatically excluded from many JP ones. I personally prefer to seek in town, if only because it provides a safe, centralized area for organization. HOWEVER, I find that I get more invites seeking in the area. =
Maybe this will change as more and more people rapidly clue in to the search function.:)

there is no < > command to show your exp... it is all done manually... (do some math). Kazham and Jeuno are good spots to level.... for a long time.. just depends where you go...
To survive the second jungle you have to have a scroll of warp (use those conquest points!) and just use that until you get to a respectable level to survive the second jungle.
If you are or have someone that can cast invisible (usually rdm and whm) then you might be able to make it back without trouble... but it's a real hassle trying to cast invis on all 6 people and hoping one person's invis doesn't run out in a bad area.
Hope this helps.

trying to invis back with 6 people would be a major pain, but then again, you can handle anything that aggros.

the NA crowd generally doesn't begin using the /sea all (whatever) command untill garliage...
although in kazham (if theres no one in the area) they will invite someone as far away as jeuno

If you don't want to level in a place as claustrophobic as Yhoator Jungle, take a trip on over to East Altepa Desert. You won't have to deal with the Mandys putting your party to sleep or Gobbo trains threatening your existence. East Altepa Beetle hunting can be done in relative safety, and if you're in a good party they won't be able to do anything nasty to you.

Dunno why people refuse to buy those 750 point instant warp scrolls.
No need to suicide to get out of the jungles.

For all 3 cities, you can achieve a 3:1 return on Conquest points. Since warp scroll is a 'personal' thing anyway, as in it doesn't help your group get to safety, why not spend 2k gil on 3 prism powders. This 1300 gil difference may not seem like a lot at the time, but if you're leaving Yhoator 5, 6, 7 times before you get out of there, it would start to add up.
If you don't know the way... learn it. It takes all of 20 seconds and I have seen level 30 people run it without invis.

Most people leave Yhoater (sp) at 31 or 32, but if the PT is up for it and everyone is around the same level, you can make it from 32 to 34 is a matter of an hour. At least this is what I did last night. At 31, smithys and Pathfinders are no longer a problem. I was the only healer (rdm/blm) and still had no downtime (except for that one time, but we all understand. :) ).
I'm a little weary about Altepa/Garlaige/Crawler's Nest based on the zillions of stories. But then again, they said the same about Val, Quf and the jungle and I haven't had a problem in any of these areas yet.

another alternative to altepa and yhoater is evil weapons in sauromugue. with a good tank they don't hit that hard, just keep the mages out of the range of the stun "Whirl of Rage" and it's all good.
at level 31 they give between 160-180 xp
at level 32 it drops a little to 125-140 i think.
