Playonline dies after movie intro

so i picked up this game today wanting to play...
after installing it i double click the Playonline icon, and i see the Square Enix logo...it goes through the movie, and goes into the Playonline Screen with the blueish green background...

after a few seconds of music it returns me to my desktop. wth...
i've tried literally almost everything i can think of, and i came across this thread in this forums...

seems like this guy had the same problem as me, even using korean fonts in typing...i tried his suggestions and it still doesn't work...so frustrating...any help would be nice...

so my computer goes like this:

AMD XP 3000+
ATI 9200 se 128 mb
1024 mb Ram
Win XP Pro SP1 (with korean enabled)
80gb HDD

man, i wanna play this so bad....so lost though...thanks in advance.

AHH! not 30 seconds after posting this reply i figured it out! ahha now i feel so dumb.

i'll explain it for future reference...

for those that use XP with different language packs that enable you to type more than one language,

in the bottom right hand corner near the Time, there's usually a blue box with EN or KOR or some other abbreviation for the language...

right click blue box> settings > make sure the default language is set to ENGLISH.

and it should work..
