What is the point in having certain furnishings like workbenches which add a slot in storage but take one away in safe. Im taking up woodworking and cant see why people would buy these yet they sell pretty well

some of them can be used for quests, some of them can get you special items, others just make it look good.

they give you storage slots so you dont lose space in your mog safe for having furnishings in your house.

I've heard that workbenches also give you a slight boost when you craft inside your mog house. Can't confirm that though.
