I dunno if this is the right forum but anyway...

I thought about starting to play FFXI but I have a little problem... No credit card. Or my parents do have credit cards, it's just that they doesn't want to let me use them for payment because they fear that "omg l33t h4x0r d3wd5" will hack and abuse the credit card information or something. And my firewall... Isn't that good.

So my question is... Is there a safe way to give the information to PlayOnline or do have some proof that none hacker took it or anything? I just need some suggestions how could I prove them that no one will get the information or anything... I would appreciate fast answers since faster I get a good suggestion, less time I'll have to wait to get the FFXI and start playing :P

And I'm european if that does make any difference...

Well, if it helps, when you are subscribing to the POL/FFXI registration service, SQ-E ensures you that your information is safe with that little key thingy 128 sercurity...sorry i'm not sure what its called, but i do know that your CC information is safe at all times.

Now that I think about it... I'm not sure did I understand it correctly. So the security system is on their computer or in the registration software? Since I asked about this because my firewall... I don't have one and it sucks. I just want to make them really sure that I will get it.

And the reason why I can't check it out myself is that I'll only buy the game if I will get the credit card for it.

Im sure Square will use a SSL 128 bit of higher security encription software at all times so the information is safe im from the Uk too so if u get it sorted let us know :)
