RNG/RDM vs. RNG/NIN

This has been said several times but Ill go ahead and say it again

XP/Party

War - Dmg, Berserk, Stats
Nin - 2 Archers Knives (Accuracy), Stats
Sam (Not till after 60) - TP Attacks/Major Dmg


Farming

THF - Gill/Treasure Finding abilities
WHM - Healing
RDM - Healing/Debuff/Gravity


It is not good to use farming subs while in groups. You would not only hinder yourself but you hinder the group.

honestly a lot of the time lately (except when gil farming ) I do use rdm . Especially where sneak and invis is required to move around dungeons and areas . Had a pt going to rumble crawlers in the nest out of 6 I was the only one who didnt die . they died a total of 9 times just trying to get to the hallway . Since when I xp I bring rdm sub

So you would lower the dmg output of your group for greedy reasons such as being able to save yourself when sneak/inivs(no clue why you would do agianst a crawler who cant see you).

First of all a WHM/BLM in the group should of filled that so you would not need that. A ranger is not there to be able to heal with his 20-50 mana pool, not there to cast crappy debuff with his crap skill, he is there to output as much dmg as possible.

We are a high dmg class not a support class. By not playing your specific position in the gorup you hinder you own dmg output aswell as hinder your group because you are basically a empty spot in the group.

If the group needs support they will get a full on RDM or a BRD. And the way most rangers are playing might as well get another BLM/DRK/THF if you want more dmg.

I personally don't see a problem with this sub. I use it to xp, and I'll be damned if someone can outhit me with a regular hit. Hell, I still hit more often then the other melee characters, even without the 'only sub that worth a damn' Ninja. We pay the same to play the game, so we should be able to do anything we want, simple as that. I'm sick of people telling me how to play the game according to them. They didn't create it, and they sure as hell don't pay my fee so they can sit down and shut up. Ghost1183, play the game you want to play - If you know what you're doing, people with open minds will accept and appreciate what you can do.

The pluses for subbing War/Nin far outwieght that of subbing RDM when levleing simple as that.

Yep, we all do. Thats why I dont invite mediocre RNG with just ok setup into my PT. I will never ever invite a RNG/RDM. Like you say, we all pay the same fee...and I aint paying mine to play with a lazy RNG with the wrong sub that makes the rest of PT pick up HIS slack. :)

LOL whm talking about picking up slack . Sorry to tell you bud but at my lvl 1 rdm and 1 brd can do alot more and better then a whm . You also can be replaced

You must be one of the most clueless person in the entire planet. The longer it takes for the group to kill a mob, the more I have to heal, the more I heal the more mp I use, the more mp I use the more PT has to wait to pull again. How is that for picking up slack?

Also, of course a whm can be replaced with one rdm AND one brd past lvl 40-41. That doesnt bother me at all, since whm is my sub, and blm is my main. You as RNG can be replaced by ONE DRK, DRK, SAM, MNK, WAR OR take your pick at a good meele.

Let me dumb that down for you, cause I dont think you can grasp what I just said:
WHM can be replaced with TWO jobs. /sarcasm and since its soooo easy to get a bard we are super useless. Are there whm past lvl 41 in any server? NONSENSE! They dont exist, all I see are rdm and brd past lvl 41.

RNG can be replaced with ANY good meele. /sarcasm And since there are never any DRK or DRG with their flags up I guess RNG are the most sought meele in the entire game! Why, nobody can lvl without one!

To pick a RNG/RDM or a DRK/WAR.......oh yeah, it puzzles the mind!
