Wyvern disappears sometimes?

I dunno if this problem has been posted before, but I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with the wyvern disappearing at times. For example, I've gone into San D'oria and left my wyvern right at the gate, only to find 10 minutes later that it has disappeared (Didn't change my job). Or maybe I'll log in when I last called for him, yet have him appear most times, yet have him disappear during others.

Anyone else have these problems? Any tips?

doh... i've never had or heard that happen.

you lose your wyvern when you log out while you're in town, ride a chocobo, or change jobs. those are the only conditions i know about.

um I am pretty sure I have logged out in town multiple time and never lost him.

I know what you mean, I usually summon him again and he shows up, yet I don't actually have to use my 2 hour.

Well the only times I have ever lost my Wyvern was when I temporarly log out, that always sucks. Also when I changed my sub job, I was hopeing he wouldn't disapear but he did. I've never lost him in town unless you go to a differnt exit. Oh and of course chocobo, which is a let down, so I try to wait to summon him til after, not always the case though.

What I do is sometimes get lucky when logging in and wait to summon him until I'm in my last area. I'm always so paranoid that I'll go to an area and not have him there @_@;

I've had this happen to me before. When I went into Bastok. Lumiere was with me in the highlands, and both north and south gustaberg. I went into the Korroloka Tunnel because I was gonna try to lvl in Altepa (Which I hate with a passion now -.-; but that's another story.) And when I zoned into Altepa, he was gone. He was gone in the tunnel too, but I just figured maybe he couldn't follow me into there. This ever happen with anyone else?

Various things like that. I beleive I was in Ghelsba, walked out, and had it disappear from me.
