Yea... I'm on bismarck server and have gotten so frstrated with this that i am starting to think of trying to getting a world pass. Everytime i try to make a pt or am invited to one i get 1 of these 2 responses from mages..
Oh sano your are second pld, so u can be a all out attacker (i'm thinking wtf? where's the challange in that)
I try to make a pt, but all of the people lfg are pld's and the ocassional all out attacker
i don't want so spawn out agaisnt all of us pld's on this site... I LUV the job, but it seems to be way to many... is anyone else on bismarck noticing this?
(and yes i understand the fact that we are nessicasy in every pt (witht he expection of instead of a pld having a war or a rich ninja)

There are too many paladins on every server, everyone's just a mindless drone that'll grow to become another facless paladin in the sea of about a million others...do something bold and unique...DON'T BE A PALADIN..pick another job and try it out..who says the world can't use another drk or brd

Actually there are only too many low level palidins. At my level range there are usually only about 10 PLDS on at an given time and usually in parties.

Hmm I get invites all the time, even when I am leveling up NIN or RDM and even from JP parties.
Also remember that it varies from day to day. Some days I have gotten 10 responses within minutes of logging on. Other days I haven't gotten one response in a few hours.
Of coure developing a good reputation is a very importatant thing, especially on a small population server like Bismark.

I don't seem to have too much of a problem most nights getting a group as a PLD on Bismarck.
There are lots of people who lvl into the 20's and quit or switch jobs.... probably alot of the paladins get pissed off when they see you hit for such LOW LOW amounts of damage.... and they become DRK's
You are a little on the low side of the power-curve for Bismarck... at 37 I am the mid-range (for USA)... slightly different group of people there... more skilled for one (not that you are not skilled... but alot of lvl 20 players are not)
There is the high-mid range of people in the high 40's that is an excellent place to be as a PLD.... you are rare and very badly needed.
Then there are the high-end USA people in the 50's and 60's.... you will have a difficult time finding a group if you do not speak japaneese.
I don't want to be in the high-end non-japaneese speaking population... so I constantly pause... and lvl something else. :spin: Some people don't understand that when I list off my job list... but if you really pause and think about it I have maxed skills... I have variety.. and I can group with a pretty good chunk of the USA players.
The major downside to my strategy... it is VERY expensive to buy every damn spell in the game... and maintain like 5 sets of armor and weaps.... bank space becomes a MAJOR issue for me about once a week... and I have 2 charectors on Bismarck that I mail gear between to keep Claritin's bank under control.

At Lv54 I have no problem finding parties. I actually have to go anon sometimes to get players (JPN and NA) from private messaging me. Its actually pretty nice in the 50's since I can now be more selective on who I chose to group with.

On my server we have too little PLD and maybe WHM and too many bards and damage dealers going lfg. But good for a PLD seeking at high level, I get picked up in a jiffy whenever I flag up in jeuno.

Thankfully, Odin Server is at quite the lack of paladin's. I find parties easily. I know in the past I've just been waiting for some friends to get on and do a mission, and in the time I'll be sitting *without* seek on, I get about 4-5 tells asking if I'd like to join.
Odin seems to have an excessive amount of Dark Knight's, thought. ^^; I was once in a party with myself, four darks and a white mage. Talk about trying to hold aggro with beserk, souleater and last resort going around!
