+2 to Requiem which would be nice indeed. I tried to find info but didn't come across any regarding this quest. Help?

I'm not sure of the details but it's supposedly a long drawn out and annoying quest. I believe it starts with talking to Cid and getting a quest that involves going to Rolanberry and killing a silkworm crawler NM. The final step involves obtaining chest keys from 3 non-popular zones(ex. Zvahl). I just paid 20k for it instead.

I was wondering this also myself once so I researched the quest and it looks very complicated. I didn't actually do it but I'll post the info I have for anyone interested in the future. Information is from the Japanese site Final Fantasy XI Database (http://www5.plala.or.jp/SQR/ff11/quest-bas-2.html).
It seems that you must do these quests in order:
1. Airship Bound for Ifrit's Sky [2100g] イフリ?[トの空に向かう船
2. Rhapsody 'Love that ends in the Glacier' [Lamia Harp] 狂想曲?u氷河に果てる恋?v
3. Fatal Illness [9000gil] 死に至る病
4. Twilight Lovers [Siren's Flute] 黄?ィの恋?lたち
The first two quests are described at the Bilingual FFXI Website (http://ffxi.game-host.org/eriwilde/ffxi/quests/bastok/port.html#) Quests 3 and 4 are continuations of quest 2 from Carmelo and also given by him.
The following is my translation of how to do 3 and 4 which may not be entirely accurate.
For quest 3 in order to heal Daria from a strange sickness you need to collect 3 songs so he can complete his 'liberty song'.
Song of brevity [from Labyrinth of Onzozo treasure chest]
Song of evanescence [from Sea Serpent Grotto treasure chest]
Song of old [from Castle Zvahl tresure chest]
After handing these to him and talking to him you can do quest 4.
Bury his liberty song near clear waters and a grove of white flowering trees and in The Sanctuary of Zi'tah. Investigate the ??? at H-8 in The Sanctuary of Zi'tah between 16:00 and 18:00. Talk again to Carmelo to complete the quest.
Note that the quest names may not be the same in english version.
