Is it me or the tanks?

Lately I've had a problem with groups in that I get agro entirely too easy. I'm 55 drg with a warrior sub, I use jumps as needed, but I find myself using high jump/super jump really often - most times I get agro just from melee damage. While the evasion and parrying skill ups are nice and all, I'm at a loss when every group I've been in for a few weeks I constantly get agro, and more so than just during skillchains or for a few seconds here and there.

Anyone have any suggestions? Or is it just being grouped with really shitty paladins?

If your tank is not hitting often and you are, then yes, Drg will usually pull aggro off the tank even if they're provoking every 30 seconds and have used either Sentinel/Cure III/Shield Bash for Aggro. Although I'm not as high lvl as you are, I've noticed at my lvl range at least (30ish) that if I don't hit the mob (even for the small dmg I do) that I lose aggro almost all the time to a same or slightly higher lvl melee (constantly lost it to a Drg/Thf that was 1 lvl higher than me that wasn't even using her Wyvern even if I used Shield Bash, Sentinel, and Cure II's).

Your job is to do damage and if you're getting aggro from just hitting the mob, then your tank probably isn't hitting the mob very often or you two have a huge deviation in equipment quality. If you 'do' happen to draw aggro just by hitting it, the usual thing to do is to unlock the target and turn around so that the tank can get aggro back (of course I dont know if this works post 40).

get better tanks or just cut back on the penta action.

if you are getting damage just from straight out melee then something is seriously wrong there.

If at lvl 55 your Warriors are sucking, then id move servers.
