March songs are they any good?

Im currently at lv 30, and sings minuet and madridal for my PT. Is the lv 29 march songs better than minuet? Thx

Personally since getting march I've only played it once out of confusion in misinterpreting some Japanese and was told to just stick to minuet. I've never been asked to use March in any group ever.

March is mostly a song use to speed up TP building. Minuet + Madrigal is usually more usefull. The effect is very small and its only noticable on one handed weapons mostly. You shoulnd't be using this song normally but if you have a THF and RNG/NIN in your PT, you might want to consider using this so they can build TP really fast for Dancing Edge > Sidewinder Renkei. Other than that, I can't find many use for this song.

Long? Really, no, stick with Madrigal and Minuet. Firstly the speed gain is SO small that you can barely tell, if you can tell at all. You don't really notice a change unless you use both Haste Songs (Second comes at 60), and even then it isn't that large. Secondly, I've heard that a haste actually lowers your accuracy, but I haven't seen any proof or numbers proving this. But it's something to consider.

When I cast Victory March + Advancing March on my PT, they immediately say "I don't feel that I am going any faster". Even with BOTH March Songs on, and using a Ryl. Archers. Horn (+1 March) the change isn't noticed.

Double Madrigal on the Other Hand is quite nice ^^

Yup, super accuracy. My party doesn't let me play anything else, though I wish I could use a Minuet. Maybe when I can afford Minuet IV.

To me, fight seems to go a bit faster when I use Minuet + Madrigal. The damage boosting song has a really huge effect, it increase their damage by about 50% I think. Sometime I use both Madrigal, mostly when fighting stuff like Torama. both ways are pretty good. Using both madrigal will allow your PT to build TP faster but their damage will be lower. Its a double edged knife ;)

I had no idea the Madrigals made such a difference. I've only been casting Minnes and Minuets. I'll try Madrigal + Minuet to see if my PT sees a difference. I don't have the second madrigal yet.

Try turn damage filter off and go solo some too weak/easy prey mob with high def/eva, you will see how Madrigal work ^^

Test with Kronschtat mad sheeps when I was 20 using silence dagger (was practicing dagger skill atm):
Without Madrigal, I hit like: 3-5-4-6-miss-1-3
With Madrigal, my hit was like: 8-8-8-8-7-7-8

Thats the reason why melee love Madrigal so much ^^ Its not only make you miss less, but also make your weapon do max damage much more often.

I'm not sure if Madrigal effect is like boosting up weapon skill level though.

TP still goes up faster with accuracy songs on instead of haste.

The only situation to use haste songs is when you're fighting mobs so low level that the melee hardly ever miss. A skill up party is one of those situations.

I tested this with my party yesterday in the Yutunga Jungle. Instead of casting Minne and Minuet when the puller came in, I decided to do Minuet and Madrigal. The response from my melee guys was almost immediate! They were like "What did you do", "I never miss now", "TP is building quick today", etc... It's definately usefull and I'm glad I didn't learn about it too late. I'm only at lvl 25 :)

I already bought my Traversier +1 and I can't wait to be able to use it, hehe.
