I'm interested in being a Ranger with my Elvaan and I saw that if you sub NIN you can get dual weapon. Now I was wondering if you can dual Archer's Knife so you can have +20 Ranged accuracy which in total you would have +40 AGI.

I believe that once you have that, you won't need to spend as much on the equipment for extra accuracy. I know that the Archer's knife are not that cheap either but I'm sure it would help for and Elvaan. Any thoughts on that? And another thing. How high should you level your NIN. I saw that NIN you need to be level 10 to have dual weapon.

I also noticed that you can only equip Archer's Knife at level 28 so it will not help during the first tough levels 1-15 or so. Please let me know.

Thanks.

Yes you can dual Archer's Knife. And they aren't that expensive. They go for about 8,000 Gil. The Ninja should be your main subjob so level it as high as possible.

Your sub should always be half or you main. Dont cheat yourself and your PT's. And even with dual Archers you should as much AGI as possible. You are an elvaan, dont worry about str, go all out on AGI, not just dual Archers.

EDIT: Doh doh, yeah R. Acc. instead of AGI. Dunno why I was thinking in 'main' stats only.

Actually it's better to go all out on ranged accuracy infavor of AGI. ;)

Yes you can dual weild archers knife which will = +20 ranged accuracy but not +40 AGI. Agi determines other things besides ranged accuracy ie: evasion.

I think he understands that nekote, the 20 ranged accuracy has the equivalent effect on your bow/gun as 40 agi

And there is no such thing as too much Ranged Acc.
