Benefits of AF knife?

It is not evidently clear to me which songs are effected by the song effectiveness up from the AF knife.

Does anyone know which songs are improved by having the AF knife equipped and what effect it has?

I don't think theres an effect.

There is none. The only point of the AF Knife is to use it as a CHR weapon until you hit 48, then grab a Shellbuster. Can use it for BCNM40 too if you don't have a Signa.

Im in love with the shellbuster, its cheap and its got great stats :biggrin:

I see alot of bards with it now rather than their AF knife :handsdown

some website have it stating increased song effectiveness....i had seen this on numerous sites also.

I see, thanks for the replies.

I do not actually have the AF knife yet so I was trying to figure out what worth it has beyond the +2cha which evidently is none.

The sing effect rise is also erroneously reported in the sticky all AF stats (http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18931) on the race&job discussion board. Can anyone get this information corrected?
