american address problems

im planning on buying this game on import but to subscribe i need a valid american address.
As i live in the uk i dont have an american address so what should i do.
If i get an address off a friend in america will that work?
is it illegal?
is it ever checked?

You can put there in whatever you want. Im from germany and just put in my realy address and took canada as my home point. Its not checked and Enix doesnt real care about it. All what count is that your billinf information is correct. Type in "Back side of moon" or "mars" it will work.

If you feal you need a american address o suggest a hotel finder in the internet and just put in a hotel address. When i registered Shadowbane i put a holiday inn address in there )

So, no pain - you dont need one and its not checked.
