ok a few hour ago. i was fighting a mob when i suddenly have 100 hp. Oh NO

the our whm decides to use bene.

but oh no! the hates still on me!

i thought benediction gets all hate to the white mages?

Is that a good thing getting all that hate? or is it bad?

I dont remember what jobs were in my party but is getting too much hate like that is a good thing or not?

ok, I think you just had MAJOR hate to beigin with. If i'm correct, hate stacks during a battle, so you muct have been doing big damage, healing or provoking every 30 secs because Benedicition almost ALWAYS removes hate. This is a sign that you are a good PLD and the WHM should have chosen healing you over Bene unless the entire party was in danger. :biggrin:

You're a paladin, asking if that much hate is a good thing? Enough hate to hold the monster even durring Bene is great. Paladins can do so quite effectively, if they know what they're doing. Even if the monster goes towards the WHM after Bene, with a PLD, it's possible to get them back pretty quickly (with Invincible if Provoke, flash, etc. don't work).
Bet the WHM was happy.

I think it really depends on your party's current status as to how much hate that Benediction generates. I think it's the same as normal hate gathered from a monster when you cure somebody. The problem is, when your entire party is down to 100 and you use Benediction, everybody recovers 500~1000 (depending on your level) HP immediately, it's too much hate to pull off without using Invincible. However if you were the only one significantly injured and it only healed you, that's fairly easy to hold the hate through.

LMAO, That's a good thing. Had that not happened, your job would be to use all your abilities, even 2 hours, to get the hate back. Its sad but true: If we're not the ones doing all the dying, we're not doing our job right.

the hornfly kept usin the cursesphere ( area attack dmg ) so i really don't know.
