Alright, my system meets all the system requirements (by far) except I only have around 550mhz (old school comp lol) would FFXI even install onto my system and run still, even though there would probably be major lag?

Is it a p3? or a p4? Hell, yo ucan get a p41.7ghz WITH motherboard for about 130...

hmmm... probably wouldn't run that great on it... if at all... BUT, hey go to a computer show and buy a 700 p3... or 800... i forget what the highest speed was, but you could probably get the chip for aobut 25-30 bucks at a computer show.

I would propose you download the free Vana'diel Benchmark v2 from the official Playonline site and simply try whether its running on your PC.

Did download that a while back, scored about a 1150, went really laggy through some parts though. I'm probably just going to wait until March 23rd and get the PS2 version.
