Things to add to the info thread?

I'm currently thinking of things to add in to the info thread. If there are anything that you think should be added here, please post below. I'm sure I forgot a lot of things I should have added ;)

BTW, I tried to change all the translations to the official English names too, but if I missed anything again, please let me know.

The following are what I have in mind...

- Quivers
- basic arrow recipes
- skill250 weapon skill quests
- AF stats and quests
- notable NM drops

Yeah, include all the bullet/arrow recipes know to man. :biggrin:

Its pretty easy to find info on how to craft up to silver, but how do you craft horn and above? Woodwork is used for arrows and alchemy for bullets right?

A list of what NM are better to hunt as a rng would be appreciated a lot. I know these are not easy request from my part, but hey you asked!:thumbsup:

You already did a lot for us newbie rng with your sticky info thread, so anything you add will help us even more. :handsdown

I would appreciate it if (for the recipes) you could also include the level at which that recipe is trivial, if known.

you should add your auto-leader 'where to level up' guide to it too (the one on http://ffxi.cogn.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18451 ).

And prehaps post-AF EQ which is better than AF.

Tangent: when you say "auto-leader," do you just mean someone that always makes their own parties, or is there some other meaning? And why is it that RNG are usually "auto-leaders?"

Best Rings (I think they are coral something)

If you could add some info about gun and bullets that would be great also. I haven't seen any Rangers use guns on Ragnarok so far so I'm wondering if Rangers even use them. If you use a gun would it be better to sub Nin for more accuracy?

Also a list of monsters that are weak vs. Piercing damage would really help out in determining what enemies to go hunting for. Do bullets also do Piercing damage?

A comment on Rng/Sam would also be appreciated. I am currently a Rng/War but I have a Nin sub also. I noticed you walking by in Sandoria and you had a Sam sub. However when I check Ragnarok all Rangers above Lv70 are all War sub. Someone told me that if you are Rng/Sam you do too much damage so Paladins cannot hold hate.

I am an Elvaan and I noticed that you are Elvaan also. I would like to hear what you think is best sub for Ranger is being an Elvaan.

For info on your guns, You cant use guns really until 50 because thats when you are allowed to use silver bullets. Ontop of that the bullets are 7k-10k a stack depending on server. So only the extremely rich can afford it.. So many people can afford it yet. I have seen several rangers on my server (My LS ^^) using Hellfire with Silver bullets. Havent seen em shoot it yet though ; ;.


And from what I hear Ninja can be best sub in the game for ranger if you have a Kraken Club/63 Ranger axe 7rdmg 7racc
you get tp so fast no need for sam sub. But good luck getting a Kraken club ^^
