Ok, I'm currently at the time of posting a Lv 13 RNG, and just aquired myself a Hunter's Longbow.
Should I swap this bow for a Power Bow +1 at Lv 16, or is there no significant difference?
And what do some of you guys wear for back item?
And what about waist? The mercenary's captain belt looked kinda nice, but what else is there?
I wore evasion back pieces. Get what ever increases agi/ranged accuracy. But choose accuracy over agi. Im not sure what lvl it is for the greater bow+1, just sell your bow and buy the next one and keep on repeating. Just look at ah and compare prices etc..dunno what else to say.
Currently im a lvl 20 RNG and im using a Power Bow +1, and its not much better than the Hunters Longbow but if u have enough gil buy one. Atm im using a rabbit mantle ;) waiting for Amemit Mantle lvl 55 ot 60

I find that that there was a big difference in damage in my part.
I was in a party with a Taru Taru rng frind of mine and he had the hunters longbow and me having the Power Bow +1 i seemed to have done clearly 10 -15 more damage. :spin:
I think the best bet for ur back item is Nomads Mantle:1agi 3evasion
and i find it thats ur best off with Mercenary Captain belt just because there arnt that much agi boosting bels ^^;;
Fisk: If it's the mantle I'm thinking about (+ranged accuracy), then you better have 2,000,000 in cash on hand for your upgrade, at least on Carbuncle.
Yup it's the one, but i wont paying for it hope some of my ls friends help me to kill the NM for it ;) ( server: odin)

I was in Shakrami this morning at lvl 14, using a hunter's longbow, and a Windurst ring. Hit 15, damage didn't change too much. When I leveled to 16 that same day, I immediately switched to Powerbow+1 and two bone rings (had them on hand for when I leveled ^^)
At first the damage was exactly the same, if not LESS than what I was doing with my hunter's long bow. But then when my Archery combat skill capped off, the damage had increased by 10-15pts and stayed that way.
Even the smallest increase in damage per hit still adds up in the end to being significantly greater than what you were doing before, thus saving you some arrows in the long run.
kkkk i was wrong the power bow +1 is much better ;)
