How do you put a pic in your signature?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...but i was wondering how to put a picture in my signature. Like a picture i have saved on my computer. Any help would be appreciated. And I tried to just put that down there.....but im not sure if it worked.

first you have to upload it to some site on the internet(try geoshitties...errr i mean geocities) then just wrap [*img] [*/img] around the url for the picture(with out the *)

hmm...i still dont understand exactly...this is what i have "C:\My Documents\My Pictures\bard1.gif"....is this not what i need? Can i put the ... around that?

it can't be on your computer, you have to upload it to somewhere on the internet, like i said try geocities.

it is on my computer.....i "SAVED" it on my hard drive....how do i "UPLOAD" it?

what he means is. you cannot directly link a picture from your computer, onto the forum, in your signature. only attachments can be linked form your computer.

You have to make a website, or for a website to "host" the picture for you...or...put it on their website so that u can "link" it to here...

I'll save u some time...post the picture here as an attachment. Ill put it on the site that I use for my signature.

Perfect...ok...now put this in your "signature" area of ur profile. Under user cp > options.

Do it exactly like that, but tkae the *'s out. I just put them there so the code shows up, instead of the picture.

Heh yeah not bad...in order to make the pic smaller. I could just load the picture into photoshop, change the image size to make it smaller, then re-save the picture, and re-upload it to the site that Im hosting with...

If your REALLY set on it, it wouldn't be that hard to do...I had to do it a few times to get my signature picture *jussst* right.
