Worst Train I've seen yet

While leveling in Crawler's Nest, we see a /shout that says "Train to zone!!" ...Now I've just come from the Qufim area so I don't think too much of it. Then a level 50~ comes running past and following him is an army of crawlers. Apparently him and his friend didn't know that Soldier Crawlers aggro so they linked 20 something crawlers all together. I went running after them to watch the show, the guy almost makes it to the zone but dies just short of it. Then his buddy gets the aggro and all 20 hit him in unison. While he was being attacked I tried to run to the zone so I didn't get cornered but he only lasted about 2 secs. Then I get slaughtered.

Then another group comes in the zone and Meo a mithra apparently didn't know that Soldiers aggro'd either so she gets whooped. Then her whm locomoco (who just watched her die in 2 secs) runs into the pack and gets slaughter. At this point I'm laughing so hard I can barely breathe.

Then my friend calls in his Jpn LS to take care of the mess, was taking forever for the crawlers to go back to their spawn points. A Lv73 DRG/SAM comes in and gets killed in about 15 secs. Then they get pissed and come in with a PLD and a BRD. The BRD used AoE sleep while the PLD wiped out the soldier crawlers. It worked and after all the soldiers were killed, nothing aggro'd/linked.

Theres so way a lvl73 DRG died to a bunch of solider crawlers.. impossible. They wouldnt even hit him more then 1/5

yea there is, im a 59/29 drk, and things in qufim could kill me if i had more than 5-10 on me...you dont become invincible because you are high lvl...youre just a lot stronger, but with 2 giants on me ill go from 1100 hp, down to 1000 or less....and times that by 5 or so and id be dead...a lvl 73 paladin in a lvl 40-50 area is no different

If your level 59, and you die in qufim, your absolutely pathetic.. im sorry. I dont care if you have 10+ weapons on you, you should hardly be hit. A level 73DRG would HARDLY be hit at all by solider crawlers. Ok, maybe, if there was 10+ on him and he stood there for 10 mins without attacking, he could possibly die. Dieing immediately in 15 secs? No way

Case and point, at level 23ish (with an old old char) I trained 15+ level 12 orcs in ghelspa. This is exactly what would happen to the drg.

I'll say it again, a level 73 Drg would NOT die to any amount of solider crawlers..

Hmmm.. I'm not lying. I'll /tell the pt that was with me, and all witnesses and see if they'll post here. There were a few PT's caught between crawlers and the zone. Plus I'll try and get a SS of the DRG dying, the friend who called his JP LS in took ss's I'm sure. He seriously lasted 15-20 secs, whereas I lasted 1-2secs. And the avg count I got was like 27 total. I am not lying and if anyone who was there is reading this PLEASE POST!

Well, I saw a level 71 lose about 150HP to a lv50~55 mob. It's like me in Valkurm right now. That I can take on 2-3 Leechers at once doesn't mean that 10 of them won't kill me.

I know what happened and if you don't want to believe it because of your arrogant attitude, no problem with me. By the way, you are a dumb fool, cuz those orcs would even miss on a lvl 20 player. At level 53 paladin, I solo solider crawlers without losing more then 400HP... and that was when I was using a polearm (E CLASS WEAPON!) to skillup. A level 73 would not die, i dont care wtf you say.. a solider would die in under a minute. And yes, i can solo 10+ crawlers with my blm. Its called sleepgaII dumbass.

No way in hell would a 73 DRG die. The monsters would miss WAY too much- and even if they did make contact it would hit for like 10.... I mean, my WAR doesn't even take that much damage. I think someone just wanted to sound cool and hardcore by making the monsters sound REALLY hard... which they aren't. -_-;

LOL I'm being flamed and blatantly called a liar now. This is great. Masamura is the one who called Baal (the 73DRG/SAM) who was killed, into the Nest to help in the first place. Ask him if you're on Quetzacoatl if you don't believe me. And the BRD almost died as well, we had our WHM and BLM tossing Cure2 and 3 to help. Also asked everyone else to help cure the BRD. The pally really didn't have much trouble, he didn't even lose a 1/4 of his HP bar. But the DRG DID DIE, I sat there and freakin watched him go down. Everyone around was stunned. But it happened. I've explained everything now, if you wish to continue calling me a liar then do so..I really don't give a fuck anymore.:rolleyes:

lol yea, giants miss mostly, hit for 5, and crit for 20, and ive killed many many too....but we're talking about 10-15 in a train...i can kill one enemy with one guilltoine in qufim, but with that many on me theres no way i could take them all down, spinning sycthe might help but wouldnt do enough to kill them. anyways, you're a 57 DRK, go train 15 evil weapons, and see what happens, if you can take them all, post and lemme know how much health you had left...im not willing to kuz im positive i would die, maybe not with a WHM subclass...but without i would die.

I bet it could happen. Pole-arms regardless are a bit hard to hit with for some reason. Also, 20+ of any monster sounds deadly. I support your claims of it all, and the only thing really to support is the fact that there was a 20+ monster train. :biggrin:

I just noticed another dumb answer from you, AOE sleep! omai wa kureiiji desuka? Dragoons do not have sleep, so try not making the crawlers sleep first you dumb****. Then, get about 10 soldiers and 10 crawlers up your pathetic little arse and kill them off 1 by 1 like how my sempai tried doing. Let's see if you can do that ok?

ok, i decided to try myself...60/30 DRK in full AF, 250 some defense, 185 evasion skill....i went to crawler and did WORKER crawlers in the very beginning with scythe...fought 2 at a time, with defender...and from 1100 hp...got down to 400...a lvl 73 drg would definately die...theres no argument now, its not my character, its the game. i only evaded maybe 50%, i was taking 20-40 dmgs.
paladin can solo soldier crawlers because of their cure skills...if 15 workers/soldiers were on you, your casting would get interrupted...theres no way any lvl 75 class could do it alone WITHOUT sleepga, period.

to that takaetshi, i used guillotine on a worker crawler for 800 dmg, and took about half of its hp...a 73 DRG cant JUMP for 1600 dmg i dont care what you say. penta could kill 1 but TP buildup wouldnt be fast enough to do it every enemy, and his jumps would probably do 300. DRG would die, ANY CLASS would die i dont care what lvl...to the posters, i completely understand all your frustration

Your an idiot, theres a HUGE difference in the power between a level 60 and a level 75. Case a point, an ALLIANCE of 18 level 60's stand a good chance of dieing to behemoth.. whereas a PT of 6 75's would absolutely destroy him. Dont be a moron.

If you want to be f*cking stupid and think that a level 73 dragoon can die to a level 50 mob, then go right ahead. Its no hair of my ass. The fact is the enemy would miss him 4/5 times, and hit him for 10-20 damage MAX. You've had 4 importers, who have played the game for almost 2 years, come in here and say that he wouldn't even come close to dieing. [edit] On a sidenote, im sorry Drak, but your seriously doing something wrong. At level 50 I solo'ed worker's with my level 50 blackmage... without the use of magic. I went there to skillup my 1hclub from 100-120. I just cured up at the end of battle and moved on to the next. I could take 2-3 without needing to rest, and thats at level 50. So i dont know what kind of gimp'ed shit you use, but there is something wrong there.
