Found a pic of FFXI with HDD

While surfin on the Internet (ebgames) I found a pic of FFXI with HDD for the PS2. They said that it will be released on March 23. Just 2 more months :cool:. Why is there a game case, I thought FFXI was already installed in the HDD. I think thats an installation disk for if you delete FFXI from the HDD and you want to reinstall it again maybe? I dont know if this is old or if some of you have seen, but anyway here it is.

ffxi is installed on the hdd when it comes out, so u cant already have the hdd without ffxi

the HDD has been avalible for about a year now if you really wanted it you could of gotten it off of the playstation web site withe the Linux OS ($199) but when you install the OS that HDD cannot be used for games

Na, that HDD couldnt be used for games anyway you see it. It was specially formatted from the start for Linux only. Just like the Xbox HDD is formatted so it cant be read, well, i cant make sence with this, so i end my post lol.

Cecil was talking about how the HDD for the Linux kit cannot be sed to play games because there is no driver out other than the Linux at this time.

The HDD is also used for numerous other games also (Xenosaga, Final Fantasy X, etc.)


But I'm REALLY glad that the game comes with it!!! Sometimes, when I'm not playing a game, I just like to sit around and look at the cool case it came in & read the instructions.

And with the recent news I just found out about Visa giftcards, I can't wait until March. :)
