Would a Bloodbead amulet be good for a paladin

I know paladins need the VIT stats, but would a necklace that has HP bonus help out being a paladin? Also for that matter any items that increase HP like shield earings.

Unless you are a Taru... no. There is no complete heal (which is weird, since most FF's do have a complete heal spell), so as long as you have enough HP not to be one-shotted, you are fine. High HP is useful in the case that the WHM won't have to worry about you as much, and can rather just slap a Regen II on you and let you worry about cures (with a little back up of course).

PLD neck piece of choice is, at least personally, Holy Phial. This is basically a superior version of Justice Badge, it has some DEF, adds MP and MND. Later I plan to get the superior version of the phial, which is the Darksteel Gorget I believe.

Shield Earrings are a no-no. They take away MP while giving HP, something that is nice for most melee, but not for PLD. Again, unless you are a Taru, stick to Drone or Black earrings. (agi+3 or mp+4, you decide)
