Clarification on Levels and the Stat Calculator?

I've been looking at the calculator at:

and it's a really great tool. Still I have a few questions and I have been unable to find their answers anywhere on the board. If anyone who's more familiar with the calculator could answer them it would be greatly appreciated.

1. When it asks for maximum level the cap is 50. So are you
supposed to read it as your lvls being 50/25? 50/50? 50/0?

2. The stats it produces, are these just a rough outline, or are
they set in stone? I did read there is stat boosting eq and
the values produced are the base values with none of the
stat boosts.

3. If the 'set in stone' is true then all the avatars are clones of
each other, with no stat randomization save which stat eq
they elect to wear? I can't imagine there would be no
randomization of stats. It seems like it would be a fairly simple
prog to implement, and it would make the game much more
flavorful.

4. Not really a calc question, but then again the last one wasn't
either, but I've read enough to understand your main can hit
60 or 65 (still fuzzy on that) and your active sub is reduced to
half your main, and you're able to switch sub to main and vice
versa.
I plan on being BLM/THF. My question is, by swapping the THF
out to main when I xp is it possible to make it hit 60 as well,
only to have it drop to 30 when I use it for a sub, and jump
back to 60 when I do want to use it as main?

5. Last question I promise. I've seen people list their main and
subs having 4 or 5 jobs. I won't ask if this is possible as that
is more than obvious. What I would like to know, is if there is
a separate quest entailed every time you'd like to take on
an additional subjob aside from the first you must do at lvl 15
in order to sub in the first place?

Also, anyone who knows where to find some information (in English, I'm cursed with the inablity to become adept in any foreign language without extreme mental anguish) on the history of Vana'diel eg. How long ago was the war of the crystals ect. or on the Kingdoms and how they're organized King, ruling houses, ect. a link would be greatly appreciated as I can't seem to find more than the few paragraphs every site seems to have.

1. 50/25 as long as you've got a Support Job, otherwise 50/0

2. Neither really, they're not exactly rough outlines, but there is some variation at times, such as using or equipping certain items

4. If you swap your Main Job for your Support Job, the Support remains the same, but the Main moves down accordingly (60/30 -> 30/15), it'd be wise whenever you assign a job as your new Main to put it in Support first, or else you'll be 1/1

5. You can only have one Support Job at a time, but once you assign a certain job, it is not 'set in stone', people sometimes put down various jobs as they are flexible with which one they choose, some people don't like consistency
