Hey, when I first got FFXI I was messing with options and I was able to change the font size. I just upgraded my ram to 1gig, and now I can change my resolution to 1600x1200, but the font is tiny. I can't remember how to change the font, I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find it. So if you could let me know how to do that I would appreciate it. Thanks

Front end sizing is controlled by the FRONT BUFFER resolution of the FinalFantasyXIConfig application

no, I wanna change the actually font of the text in game.

I know I had changed it when I first got the game back when it was first released. Maybe they took it away in a update? Don't know

I'm pretty sure in controlled by the screen size.

Remember the amount of pixels your monitor can show is limited, unless you have an moniter around 27 inches you're going to loose most of that detail anyway. Most monitors are 72 pixels per inch. Just lower your screen size a bit, you won't loose any detail and your font should be easier to see. Try it with windows, big res = small fonts.

That's the overlay graphics you should be changing, you can leave the background res the same.

I know that, I just want to have the graphics at 1600x1200 but make the font bigger. I've had it before where I changed the font only. I thought you could do it. but I guess not ><
