I was thinking over it, and i asked my LS. Do i be a SMN sub or BLM sub. Well I'm an elvaan so I thought SMN would be a good mana boost, I Checked the advanced stat calculator and The MP diff between BLM and SUMN is 6mp. I can live qwith that. anyways I have a question about Convert. When you get it at lvl 41, Convert FLip flops HP with MO and MP wit HP. How long does this last?
And also, SHould I buy all the EN spells or are they wasteing my $? Since i decioded to sub BLM and im lvln him to 20 from 10, I am doing the Drain spell Quest today and im Wondering Should I Sell the spell for 20k and save up for Aspir lvl 25 BLM so i have that for 50RDM, Or keep drain. What should i do about that?

FIRGURE IT OUT NOOB!
later on even if you are not a tarutaru, you can get almost 100 MP plus from equipments available at level 40. +25 from electrum hair pin, +20 from electrum ring which you can wear 2, that's 65 already. now you still have neck, mant, belt, and all the armors that gives MP to you. Plus pies for extra 20-50. That's more than enough even if you're a galka (which can get over 150MP from race suite alone)
You don't need to have extremely high MP to be useful. you just need a fair amount of it. with convert and refresh, you will hardly run out of any MP at all. And the spells you'll get from blm or whm sub are too useful to give up.
/smn, if you want to try it, make sure you have at least garuda and don't bother to use it before you reach 50/25 which you can use blinkga. but well forget about it you need 60+ to win garuda anyway - - hmm

EN spells help but I've started to not cast them. I'd say go with a blm or whm sub solution. You may get more MP from smn but like Jei said, the extra spells can't be ignored. After you hit level 50. Sure go level smn because I think you get autorefresh at 25... or is it 30? I forget, its monday.

In my opinion, for the most part En and Bar spells should be considered a luxury to be bought when money becomes easy to get. :)

Just my opinion
En type spells are okay before 30. Just buy one because they all basicially deal the same amount of damage to the mob. When your rich, you can buy the other type of En just to show off/raise skill while waiting for the boat or airship.
Bar is useless to me. I hardly ever works. I'd say just buy it if you have money to spare and you ahve gotten most of your more important spells.
BLM gets a skill at 20 that conserves MP. Mainly it reduces your cost of MP for spells. Add refresh to that and you pretty much have the SMN "Auto Refresh". Also BLM get "Elemental Seal" at 15. This is very useful for those times when your puller gets a link - you can "Elemental Seal" and then "Sleep" it to give you a higher chance of having the mob sleeping while your PT takes out the main guy. That is why I say go with BLM sub.
Convert doesn't have a duration. It instantly swaps HP and MP and it stays like that.
Drain spell I would keep. Reason is becuase sometimes you might be able to use Drain spell as a MB for Gravitation skillchain. As for Aspeir you can do the quest for that in WIndurst. So keep both I would say.
As for th Elvaan RDM. Don't worry about the MP too much. The RSE armor set gives you tons of MP already and if that is not enough , like Jei said, that are other armor ( earrings, rings, ....etc ) that you can get to get more MP. But I don't really feel a need to have so much MP. I'd say a moderate amount is good enough. I'm at 247 MP now and I'm hardly out of mana and keep chains going for a while ( this is before convert, refresh, and RSE equipemen - I'll work on that soon ). So with convert and refresh I don't see a MP probably anymore.
