Hey guys i was wondering if anyone had a clue about pc version in uk. i know it must go through U.S first but still any info is great.

don't be retarded, of course it's gonna come out in Europe, Square isn't stupid, there are tonnes of central/western europeans who play online games, as well as Britain.
If it comes out in America in the next couple of months, it'll be out in Europe late this year, or maybe early next year, but here's hoping, eh?
If it is a long time, I'm probably just gonna import the American pc version.. I know American ps2 games require an American ps2 to run on, cos they don't work on British/European ones, but my mate tells me this isn't the same for pc's, can anyone back this up?

I was saying that no-one had a clue when it will be out in UK not that it will never be released in the UK. When did I say that it will never be released?

I hope it is released swiftly after the US release though, so I can get my copy. I can't wait for next year to buy it in UK. I'm importing it from Asia. A strong English group is importing quite soon, about 10-15 of us, so we will level together. Maybe you should contemplate importing too?

Oh and yes I think it's correct in saying that the US copies will run on UK computers.

I'm from New Zealand which also runs PAL and we get the European version of the games. So wouldn't it basically just be better to import the U.S computer version and play that. Or is the computer version like lower quality or something.

EQ is American and i play that. I also play the JP version of FF Online on my PC.

They both work fine.

Well I can't help you then. I have heard people have used that site and successfully imported FFXI from it. So maybe you just don't know how to navigate it? I can't help anymore then that sorry.

erm... i thought that the NTSC and PAL problem only affects TVs. Like consoles, DVD players etc. Its about the TV and hardwares incompatibility, and computer monitors are totally different from TVs, arent they.
