blink quest, does anyone know for sure...

i am tired of using rumors to get the blink quest in norg to trigger.. so far i have done the yagudo necklace quest 50 times, done the invisible scroll quest in norg, and rice balls in the inn in lower jeuno cost me 155g (yep, that's a rumor for 'it can be triggered'...) Here's one thing, i didn't join the tenshodo until after the 50 neck quests, but before the invis quest.. was that bad? Anyone know anything? I do believe that the zinc quest is horrible as the zinc involved is about the same price of the scroll in an AH..

I got the quest to activate after:

1) Joining the Tenshodo
2) Doing the Tonko: Ichi Quest
3) Doing Both Rusty Quests in Norg
4) Doing the Black Market Quest once
5) Doing th Zinc Quest 7 times
6) Doing the Yagudo Bead quest many times (30+)
7) The price of rice balls when i got the quest was 152

I unlocked it after:

1) Zinc Ore quest 24 times (net cost about 20k total, maybe a lot less as I got some of mine from mining and hunting, plus the 350 you get back for each turn in)

2) Tonko: Ichi quest
3) Tenshodo Invite

I recieved the quest immediately after finishing Tonko: Ichi, I probably could've gotten it sooner, not sure, but I didn't check. I did Zinc ores 4 more times just to be safe.

Supposedly if Rice balls are about 152 or something, you have enough fame to get the quest.

finally unlocked it last night.. add to my list 10 zinc quests and there's my way of unlocking it.. and rice balls are 148g now!

Can someone please specify on the Rice balls thing?
Who do I give them too and how many do I need?

As your fame increases, prices decrease. The point of checking the prices of rice balls is that once the rice balls hit a certain price point, you can have a specific idea of what your fame level is at.

If rice balls cost you 155g, then your fame is at a lower level than if they cost you 148g.
