First off I would like to say this job kicks ass ! I like being able to kill stuff and heal my self at such a low lvl. I know later on my damage output wont be as high as the other melee jobs so healing will then be my main concern.
I have some questions :
Whats the easiest heal macro to use, right now im using /ma "Cure" <st> .. is there one more simplier then this? also Is there a way to put that on any other keyboard key other then the cntrl + or alt + ?. Sometimes in big battles when i hit cntrl - 1 ( my heal macro ) My chat box pops up , its so annoying. If any of you know a way to get around that please fill me in!
Another question is.. when im fighting with a big group in a populated area , is there a way for me to auto target what my group is fighting. Cycling through all those names gets really annoying. Again please let me know whats up
I did manage to read the sticky on rdm hints , very good post
Thanks in advance.

For curing is use Ctrl 1-6
Ctrl 1 - /ma Cure <p0> (this is always yourself
" 2 - /ma Cure <p1> name below yours
'' 3 - " <p2> name below other
" 4 " <p3> "
" 5 " <p4> "
" 6 " <p5> "
However your party is listed downwards is the heals. ctrl 1 being you and ctrl 6 being the bottom member.
As for targeting if you have someone who knows how to pull, just use your cursor.
Also I use alt + for all my debuffs. Hope I help a little.

The Heal macro you use is very simple , I like it  thanks man , that should help me in the long run.
About the target thing , I guess its something I will have to deal with.. One problem about my cursor its to light and sometimes I cant see it. Oh well I'll cycle no biggie.

I Can NOT agree with you more. In T Canyon for windurst I can't find it half the time. What I tired to do now is keep my cursor on my character, this way I always know where it is.

Look for an option under your ffxi start menu config...Use hardware cursor.
The cursor is solid.

is there a way for me to auto target what my group is fighting.
I think this should work.
/target <bt>
Well, when you cast enfeebling spells on what your group is fighting, you don't have to lock it. Try this one.
/ma Slow <bt>

Those are the macros I use. I took 30 minutes when I was waiting for the "waste of life mission 9" and redid my macros.
<bt> is great! Never accidently drop an enfeeble on a deathjacket again at level 33!
<me> to <p5> is nice because it lets you land that cure2 spell right when you need it!
I would add one more to your list. That would be
/ma "Sleep" <st>
The reason behind that <st> in there is so that you don't sleep the enemy that you are fighting. However you can TAB through enemies on the screen and drop it on the aggroed enemy that is also attacking, then deal with that hitchiker later.

When the puller is running in, I hit F8 to select the nearest npc, which is usually the one I want. If not, I just hit it again.
