Do you know if a PayPal account would work to pay for FFXI?

2 ways of paying for FFXi

1> Credit card
2> Webmoney

Webmoney is like a card with username, and password.

You buy Webmoney from the shop, input that username and password in the payment screen. Then you are done.

They usually come with the pack of 1500pts, 2000pts, 5000pts

1500pts card = 1500 yen, 1 month of FFXI payment

*PayPal, and webmoney are of different thing

Semih, could you please tell me how to go about this because I am completely confused. This is really helping, because the ONLY way I could pay to play FFXI is via Web Money.

No that's the problem, my parents are COMPLETE retards and they won't let me charge to their credit card monthly, EVEN if I could pay them back before the bill came in. They are idiots. The only way I could play is if I used this Web Money thing.

Just buy the game and once you have it you CAN NOT take it back cause of copyright laws then tell em you have to use the credit card if you dont think thatll work try to set em down and reason peacefully now if all else fails become a theif and take the credit card numbers and remember them until you get caught!

From what Semih describes, this sounds like it would be a pre-paid phone card, if you're familar with those.

Something to the effect you'd walk into your local Best Buy/EB/Game Stop ect., purchase one of these Web Money cards, and when you log in to play the game it will ask for some information on the card.

The information provided will be sent wherever and they'll see you've paid a certain amount for the card, and credit your game account for the proper length of time. I've seen similar cards sold for Everquest.

If Square offers an option like this for NA, and I don't see why they wouldn't considering it's already being done overseas, I don't see any problem with your lack of credit card issue Sindinista.

Hope this helps a bit more.

OK, I think I may have found a resonable solution, a VisaBuxx card. For those of you who don't know, VisaBuxx card is like a noraml credit card that is for kids where parents have full control over the flow of money. My parents are willing to do this if it will work out (banks and stuff). The thing is that, it would be 10x easier and faster if I could just use their credit card. Geez, parents these days, what you gonna do?

Another viable solution, though I don't see why it'd be 10x easier and faster using their numbers. All you have to deal with is a slight hassle to obtain the card, otherwise you're set just as if you were using theirs.

Anyhow, what else are you going to do till the release?

We'll you see my parents are just idiots, that's my only answer.

Until the NA release, I'll play my import:spin:.

to make it easier lets say that webmoney is more like a point card. u buy point to play online, u can probably get point card in places that they see ffxi.
