controlling the hate, meaning making the monster attack whatever you want it too, (pal) when you did yokodama, it would cause so much damage pals didnt even need provoke, but since they changed trick attack in the last patch, i dont think ppl want thfs as much anymore :(

They're not the kings of it but, they can dish out good damage. Not in their standard attacks but their job abilities like "Sneak attack" and "Trick attack". They have bursts of damage and do pretty good at it. Also if it floats your boat, it requires a bit more thinking than the rest of the damage dealers. It's not just tp reports and hitting attack. You have to think about positioning and your party's positioning. And for 75 levels, I prefer something to do.
They also increase drops by level 15, and they do it even more at a much higher level which haven't reached.
At lvl 5 they increase dropped gil.
heh with my thf i can finally afford my whm some new equip. I was hunting orcs in Ghelsba Outpost for like 4 hours at being a lvl 12 thf, and i got about 4.5k gil off the orcs, avg of around 25 gil per orc. Tell me that isnt useful? And those mobs dont even drop large gil to begin with, like 3-7 gil for my war. As for their dmg, it can be a shitload if u know what your doing.
