This is a long shot, but thought I'd ask anyway:

I'm fast approaching level 55 (@11000 > lv55), and am looking for others that are planning to break their 55th level cap soon, or are in the process.

I heard its supposed to be very very hard. So if ur in a LS that's planning such an event, or know of people who's planning such an event, please let me know here or in game.

I'm a NA (North American) player...Unfortunately I only know of 3 other NA players around my level, and have been told that it is not sufficient by a long shot, need something like 12-18 lv55 players to break the cap ><;

I've regularly grouped with Japanese players (its a requirement past 50th lol, I sincerely cannot find other NAs to level with), and since I can read chinese, I can actually understand what people are talking about sometimes just by reading the chinese characters (which also means other times its a complete loss to me ^-^), if some of our fellow Japanese players are reading this forum, I'd be eternally grateful if I am allowed to tag along for the event ^-^

Heck I'll even pay 50000gils for the chance to break the level cap ^-^

My character name is Boobo on Kujata.

Well
I guess what you can do first is get ready for the cap:

--make sure you know what the cap is about. The NMs pop every 30 secs so make sure you know what you have to do within the 30 secs...(basically touch that ???)

--make sure you have the Vars teleport stone, I know a lot of genkai 2 tours that don't accept ppl who don't have this.

--a map of Xacabard would help. Esp if you become a leader of one of the alliances. Do that san d quest for the map.

and once you are all hyped up, you can wait around jeuno and look for ppl who shout for genkai 2 tour. Most of the tours I know meet outside the church on upper jeuno. then you'll be arranged into groups and parties and whatnots.

Good luck:thumbsup:

Got a few questions for ya sol, couple are kind of dumb, but hafta ask anyway:

1. Do they mainly shout at low jeuno or upper jeuno?

2. Do you usually see these genkai 2 tours only on weekends or are they common on weekdays as well?

3. Do you mean the Teleport-Vahzl stone for Xacabard (I know some of the stone names are different for the US release, like dem JPN players refer it as demu, etc)?

4. Haven't even been to Xacabard yet, what zone does it connect with so I can go have a look see?

With ur suggestions, my plan is to catch one of these, then ask one of the jpn players I PT with to help me translate and ask the tour leaders to let me in

Either that or wait for the rest of the NA players to catch up...That would like take forever

Thanks a lot sol, really appreciate your help :handsdown

Well let's see:

1) it is common that all the major shouts be done in lower Jeuno. Although for a major event like this I'm sure there will be people shouting in all 4 levels of Jeuno.

2) From my experience, Genkai 2 tours is usually on the weekend. The shouting groups will give you a time and if you can make the time you wil be automtically in the tour.

3. Yes that stone. Teleport err.....Vahzl

4. Xacabard connects with the glacier. So your best bet of getting there is from Ronfaure -> Ragumont Pass -> Glacier -> Xacabard.

if you know the japanese player well enough and he is kind enough to help translate then that would be a good idea. Or get really good with the translator.

I'm sure that they would accpet you as long as you knew what you were doing. this level cap gets longer proportional to the number of people participating in it. If you knew what you were doing then it would help save killing the NMs a few times.

good luck
